This is the curly formula. The beige bottle.

If the coat holds tight, springy curls and keeps its shape, you are in the right place. Softer waves that loosen when you brush them instead? You want the wavy formula in the green bottle.

Every Oodle brand will tell you coats are different. Then they sell you one bottle for all of them.

A wavy coat and a curly coat don't behave the same way. Wavy coats can become weighed down and lose their natural movement. Curly coats are denser and can need more moisture, conditioning and slip.

One formula has to compromise between the two. We stopped compromising and made two.

Dog shampoo does not have to tell you what is in it. Ours does. All of it, and why each one is there.

Coconut Oil

What it does: Penetrates the hair shaft to add moisture from the inside, not just a coating on top.

Why it is in the curly formula: Curly coats dry out fastest and need moisture that actually stays put.

Panthenol

What it does: Draws in and holds onto moisture along the hair strand.

Why it is in the curly formula: Helps curls stay flexible instead of turning brittle and knotting.

Soy Protein

What it does: Strengthens each strand from the inside.

Why it is in the curly formula: Curl pattern relies on strand strength to hold its shape wash after wash.

What we left out matters too.

No soap.

No silicones, so it cannot build up and weigh down a curly coat.

No artificial fragrance.

Never tested on animals, only enjoyed by them.

Stage 1

First wash

A cleaner coat that combs out easily while it is still damp. You will notice the difference in the rinse before you notice it in the coat.

Stage 2

After three washes

Less scratching afterwards. Less product needed each time, because you are not fighting a stripped coat any more.

Stage 3

After a month

The coat holds its condition between grooms. This is the point most owners tell us they stopped booking the extra tidy up.

How to use

Wet the coat through. Work a small amount from the skin outwards. Leave it for one minute. Rinse properly, then rinse again.

Less foam, same clean

It will not lather like the shampoo you are used to. There is no foaming agent in it.

$59 for 500ml. Here is what that is per wash.

Use it properly and use it liberally. A little coat care goes a long way.
