Giveaway & Referral Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter is The Bark and Bloom AU, ABN 60 986 189 167, trading as Bark & Bloom (Promoter).

2. Promotion
The Bark & Bloom — Ultimate Oodle Coat Makeover promotion consists of:
- a random Grand Prize draw;
- additional Grand Prize entries earned through Successful Referrals;
- a complimentary trial sachet reward for qualifying entrants who achieve one Successful Referral; and
- a separate Top Referrer reward based on verified Successful Referral counts.
3. Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
Employees and contractors of the Promoter, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.
4. Promotional Period
The Promotion opens at 12:00pm AEST on 7 October 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 30 November 2026 (Promotional Period).
All Launch List signups and Successful Referrals must be received during the Promotional Period to count.
All times stated in these Terms and Conditions are AEST.
5. How to Enter
Entry is free. No purchase is necessary.
To enter, an eligible person must join the Bark & Bloom Launch List during the Promotional Period using the approved Bark & Bloom signup process.
Each valid Launch List signup receives one (1) entry into the Ultimate Oodle Coat Makeover Grand Prize draw.
Only genuine, eligible signups will be accepted.
6. Additional Referral Entries
After joining the Launch List, an entrant may receive a unique referral link or other approved referral mechanism.
Each Successful Referral earns the referring entrant one (1) additional entry into the Grand Prize draw.
Merely sharing a referral link does not earn an additional entry. An additional entry is earned only when the referral becomes a verified Successful Referral.
7. Successful Referrals
A Successful Referral means a genuine new eligible person who:
- was not already on the Bark & Bloom Launch List;
- joins the Launch List during the Promotional Period;
- joins through the referring entrant's unique referral mechanism; and
- is successfully attributed and verified by Bark & Bloom's referral system.
Fake, duplicate, automated, fraudulent or self-referrals do not count.
Bark & Bloom may verify referral activity and remove invalid referrals and associated entries.
8. Grand Prize
There will be one (1) Grand Prize winner.
The Grand Prize is the Ultimate Oodle Coat Makeover, comprising up to AUD $750 in professional dog grooming, consisting of:
- up to five (5) professional grooming appointments;
- a maximum contribution of AUD $150 per appointment; and
- a maximum aggregate prize value of AUD $750.
9. Grooming Prize Conditions
The winner may nominate an eligible professional grooming business located in Australia, subject to Bark & Bloom's reasonable approval.
Bark & Bloom will pay the approved grooming provider directly against valid invoices. The Grand Prize will not be paid to the winner as cash.
If an appointment costs more than $150, the winner is responsible for paying the difference.
If an appointment costs less than $150, the unused portion of the $150 appointment allowance will not be paid to the winner as cash.
Bark & Bloom's total contribution across all appointments will not exceed $750.
All grooming appointments are subject to the nominated provider's availability and booking requirements.
10. Cancellations and No-Shows
The winner is responsible for complying with the nominated grooming provider's booking, cancellation and rescheduling policies.
Any cancellation, late-cancellation or no-show fees incurred as a result of the winner's actions or failure to attend are the winner's responsibility and do not increase the $750 Grand Prize limit.
11. Grand Prize Draw
The Grand Prize draw will take place in Queensland, Australia at 7:00pm AEST on 1 December 2026.
After the Promotional Period closes, Bark & Bloom will finalise the valid entry pool and assign each valid entry a sequential number.
The winner will be selected electronically using a random-number generator, with every valid entry having an equal chance of selection.
Bark & Bloom will retain a record of the final entry pool and draw result.
12. Winner Notification
The Grand Prize winner will be notified in writing by email within two (2) business days of the draw, using the contact details provided when joining the Launch List.
Bark & Bloom will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner.
13. Claim Period and Unclaimed Grand Prize
The winner must claim the Grand Prize within 14 days of written notification.
If the winner:
- does not claim the Grand Prize within that period;
- cannot be contacted despite reasonable attempts;
- is found to be ineligible; or
- otherwise cannot accept the prize in accordance with these Terms and Conditions,
the prize may be forfeited and an unclaimed-prize redraw conducted from the remaining eligible entries.
The redraw will use the same electronic random selection method as the original draw and will occur promptly following expiry of the claim period.
The replacement winner will be notified in writing.
14. Winner Publication
The Grand Prize result will be published on the Bark & Bloom website in a place relevant to the Promotion within three (3) days of the draw, and will remain published for at least seven (7) days.
Only winner information that is legally required or otherwise appropriate for publication will be published.
Publication of the result does not grant Bark & Bloom broader rights to use the winner's image, likeness, dog, photographs or testimonial for marketing purposes.
15. Refer 1 — Complimentary Trial Sachet
The first 500 eligible entrants to achieve one (1) Successful Referral during the Promotional Period will each receive one (1) complimentary 9mL Bark & Bloom shampoo trial sachet.
The sachet will be matched to the entrant's selected Wavy or Curly coat type where reasonably possible.
Standard Australian delivery is included.
A maximum of one complimentary trial sachet is available per qualifying entrant.
This reward is available to the first 500 eligible entrants who meet the referral requirement and is not a random prize.
Trial sachets are expected to begin dispatching from November 2026, with timing dependent on when the entrant qualifies and product availability.
16. Top Referrer Reward
At the end of the Promotional Period, the three (3) eligible entrants with the highest number of verified Successful Referrals will each receive Bark & Bloom for a Year.
17. Bark & Bloom for a Year
Each Top Referrer will receive three (3) Bark & Bloom Shampoo + Conditioner duos, matched to Wavy or Curly as appropriate.
The three duos will be supplied approximately as follows:
- Duo 1: following confirmation of the recipient;
- Duo 2: approximately four months later; and
- Duo 3: approximately four months after Duo 2.
18. Determining the Top Referrers
Top Referrers are determined by the number of verified Successful Referrals recorded at the end of the Promotional Period. They are not selected randomly.
If two or more entrants have the same final verified referral count, the entrant who first reached that final referral count, according to the referral platform's timestamp, will rank higher.
Referral totals are subject to Bark & Bloom's verification and fraud review.
19. Referral Fraud and Disqualification
Bark & Bloom may investigate referral activity where it reasonably suspects manipulation, fraud or abuse.
Invalid activity may include fake email addresses, duplicate accounts, self-referrals, automated or bot-generated signups, multiple accounts controlled by the same person, fabricated identities or other attempts to manipulate the referral system.
Bark & Bloom may remove invalid referrals and associated entries and may disqualify entrants engaging in fraudulent or deliberately manipulative conduct, subject to applicable law.
Legitimate referrals will not be disqualified arbitrarily.
20. Prize Transfer and Cash
Prizes and referral rewards are not redeemable for cash unless required by law.
The grooming prize will be paid directly to the approved grooming provider rather than to the winner.
Prizes may not be sold or transferred without the Promoter's approval, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
21. Product Availability
If a Bark & Bloom product forming part of a reward becomes unavailable or is delayed due to circumstances outside the Promoter's reasonable control, Bark & Bloom may provide an equivalent or greater-value substitute where permitted by law.
Any substitute will not materially reduce the value of the applicable reward.
22. Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with the Promotion will be handled in accordance with Bark & Bloom's Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.
Personal information may be used to:
- administer the Promotion;
- verify entries and referrals;
- contact winners and reward recipients;
- fulfil prizes and rewards; and
- send Bark & Bloom marketing communications where the entrant has consented or where otherwise permitted by law.
Personal information will not be sold or disclosed contrary to Bark & Bloom's Privacy Policy or applicable law.
23. Launch List Communications
Joining the Bark & Bloom Launch List involves providing an email address for Bark & Bloom launch and marketing communications.
Bark & Bloom marketing emails will provide the required unsubscribe functionality.
Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not, by itself, invalidate an otherwise valid Promotion entry.
24. Publicity
Participation in the Promotion does not give Bark & Bloom unrestricted rights to use an entrant's or winner's name, image, likeness, dog, testimonial, photographs or other user-generated content for marketing.
Any such marketing use will be subject to appropriate permission or consent.
This does not affect any limited publication of winner information required by law or these Terms and Conditions.
25. Promoter's Responsibility
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
The Promoter is not responsible for technical failures outside its reasonable control that prevent an entry or referral from being correctly transmitted or recorded.
Where a genuine technical issue is brought to Bark & Bloom's attention, Bark & Bloom will take reasonable steps to investigate it.
26. Changes or Cancellation
Bark & Bloom will not cancel, suspend or materially modify the Promotion merely at its discretion after the Promotion has commenced.
If circumstances outside Bark & Bloom's reasonable control make a change, suspension or cancellation necessary, Bark & Bloom will act in accordance with applicable trade promotion laws and regulatory requirements.
27. Record Keeping
Bark & Bloom will retain the final eligible-entry list, referral records, draw record and result, and relevant prize-administration records for at least three (3) months following the Grand Prize draw.
28. Acceptance of These Terms
By participating in the Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions will be accessible through the Bark & Bloom giveaway and Launch List experiences and relevant promotional material.
